Facts & Questions

Thank you so much for your support of our Catholic family-run small business. It is our sincere hope is that our books and resources help the children in your life grow closer to Jesus. All of our items are prayerfully created, and we pray over your orders as well. If you have a question that is not included here in our FAQs section, please contact us.

Questions About Our Books

Kids in 4th-6th grades can use the books on their own. Children in 3rd grade or younger could need some help from an adult. At the beginning of each book is a section called “pilgrimage challenges” – a checklist of all the sections and activities in the book with age suggestions for the number of activities to complete.

Parents visiting a holy site with their littlest children can use the books to help engage and guide their young ones. Adults might learn something too!

The books are written with specific activities for kids to do at that shrine. If you choose to use these books at home or in school, know that the books will ask the children to look for and do things on location of that shrine/site.

Our site specific shrine books are currently available at:

– The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche in St. Augustine, Florida (restock coming spring 2023)

– The Shrine of St. Joseph in Stirling, New Jersey

We very much encourage you to purchase our books at the shrine if possible and help support these sacred places. We recommend calling the shrine in advance to see about reserving copies. Some of the sites keep a small inventory of books.

Our Kid’s Companion to Pilgrimage in the Catholic Church is the perfect basic guide for any pilgrimage. The first section explains what pilgrimage is and the history of pilgrimage in the Roman Catholic Church, and the second part includes activities and information that can be applied to any site.

Also, our Kid’s Companion to Cathedrals & Basilicas in the United States can be used at any cathedral or basilica. There’s a good chance you have one within driving distance. Check out this post where you can grab a list of all the cathedrals and basilicas in the U.S.

We really want each kid to have access to this resource. Our mission after all is to bring kids closer to Jesus, and as a mom of five, I know it’s not always easy to buy a copy of a resource for each kid. That’s why we’ve specifically priced our books with groups and large families in mind.
